Oh, yeah, I guess it does lol. I realized that we just got antivirus back on the comp, and it updated last night. Will that affact it?

I can't get my microphone to record any sound!!
I have a regular Windows XP. I use a regular Phillips mic. I often to recordings using audacity for my band. This has been working before (about 3 months ago last time). I have made no changes to my pc, and have had this problem before. Can someone please help me??? ...and yes, I have tried the stup...
