Re: A Few Questions about 1.2.6
Looks like I need to update to 1.3, meanwhile......since 1.2 is limited as far as stopping a recording and starting it up again.....can I resume the same recording (where I left off) if I save it and then re-open it?

Re: A Few Questions about 1.2.6
Koz, Thanks for your help. One more please.....after I stop recording, how do I start recording again where I left off. I can't seem to get it to work. "I personally might have posted 1.2 questions in the 1.2 forum instead of 1.3..." Sorry about that. I didn't realize I was in the wrong section. Ric...

A Few Questions about 1.2.6
Is there a way to "fast forward" thru the wave form that has been recorded so that the editing process can be speeded up? or do I have to just go thru it in real time? I successfully recorded an LP but I recorded side 2 first, by mistake. Instead of having to record the whole thing over again so tha...

Re: Unable to activate "effect"
Thanks for your help. I was able to activate the effects but unfortunately it did not remove the noise.
This recording is strictly voice and the noise in the background is an air conditioner or fan. I tried several different levels of noise removal but none of the tries where acceptable.

Re: Unable to activate "effect"
I tried your suggestion but it still doesn't work. After I open my recording I clicked on stop and then clicked on effect but it was still non-active.

Sorry, I forgot to mention my HP computer is running XP and I have a dual layer Memorex external CD/DVD RW burner that came with Nero software but I have misplaced the software.

How to burn an audio DVD?
I have a 90 min. audio program that I want to record in WAV format and since it is too long to fit on CD, I would like to burn it to DVD. Can this be done without buying expensive DVD burn ware?

Help needed to monitor prior to recording
How do I confingure Audacity so that I can listen prior to recording uncompressed audio from the internet, so that I can set record levels and edit, etc.
I can hear the audio from the speakers but I only get a short high pitched screech when I click the play button.

Re: Recording shuts off after 15 mins.
No crash or error messages, more like it timed out. This is a new computer with a 250 gig HD. Nothing much in the computer, except for a few programs such as Audacity.
