I am using A. 2.0.3 from the .exe on Vista
I was wondering if this plug-in will work with Audacity- a frequency spectrum analyzer, just another tool in the box...

Working with unbalanced stereo
Using A 2.0.3 DL on Vista these stems were recorded from keyboard thru stereo compressor. I am then ripping them from CDr and importing the wav. I had some trouble at the time with either using the stereo link on the compressor, rather than two monos for a stereo mix: more often than not, it was a s...

Re: Bass Boost Q preset bandwidth
i do find the bass boost handy, when in a mix i am not sure exactly what freq's to adjust in a "thin mix". usually i boost the bass 1 db, gain 1 db. then notch/cut a band at a time to taste. Every track is different, some have sub-bass, some not, etc. I also find that this little boost seems to "glu...

Re: Creating Virtualization, and Separating Vocals......
i also found that you can create a stereo effect by delaying one channel in the change tempo effect. i used the lowest setting -.001, in a 300.15 second track, the delayed channel timed to 300.16 I am assuming to create a delay LFO/widening/chorus-y effect, one would do this then copy/past the same ...

Re: What is "Merge," exactly?
There's also a "join" option at the Edit dropdown, (2.0.3), under the "cut" or "delete" (don't have the Program open right now) that does the same thing. The whole track is highlighted, then the black separation lines disappear.

Re: avoiding distortion when altering pitch
Mostly i am using "speed up" or tempo change on entire tracks on V2.3/Vista to tighten up the feel on tracks that were sequenced with an outboard workstation. I leave the pitch as it comes out usually; i notice with longer envelopes when the tempo changes up, there is a chopping effect: so, the high...

Switching from XP to Dell laptop running Vista....i am a long-time DIYer and recorded to CDr from my mixer for years. I used A. on XP to edit wav files, ripped from CDs; now i am incorporating a laptop into the studio. An outboard compressor is used to control peaks during recording and the CD recor...
