as an aid in setting sensitivity and width parameters it would be nice to know the logical thinking and the mathmatical equations be used for this effect.

Audacity 2.0.4 doesn't load a file when double clicking an .aud file. It does open the app but not the data files. One has to go to "FILE" menu and select "OPEN RECENT FILE". I abhor the on-line help, not just Audacity but all the others also. Is there an easier way to gt a hard(paper) copy than to have to open it then print it out, then closing the window and selecting the next one etc.etc. etc. ect.
