Those microphone capsule are so cheap it would be a sin not to try and asemble 1 at home and then test against those cheap microphones i have. Maybe get different types of microphone capsules and compare them, it sounds like 1 of my projects that slows down my college progression ! If i were to buy ...

Thank you for all your replies ! Right now on 1 laptop i have +12dB boost and when no noise is made it will give me about -30dB in audacity. Does that feel ok or would you lower/raise boost ?
