Audacity Forum

ok here is the problem...i recorded some guitar on audacity and the quality came out perfect when i played it back. then when i went back to record the vocals overtop, the guitar sounded extremely fuzzy and had a lot of static. it just sounded awful. any idea what caused this? please help, thank you.
