Windows drivers and software is probably not going to do it, but it might work if you install the latest Startech drivers and software. Koz I know. Will my sound card for multi channel work?

I bought Startech's 4 Channel PCI Sound Card and am trying to get it to work on multi channel recording with no luck. Is there anything I need to do to get it to work? Or will it even work?
P.S. My computer is Windows 7

Sound won't work, but everything else does.

I was using audacity on my desktop one day and it wouldn't playback sound. Audacity will play it, the bar of the left and right channels work, just no sound. Everything else works fine. I can record (with sound), amplify, and things like that, but if I want to hear it, I have to export it as an MP3 ...
