Re: Add New Track OTHER than at bottom...

Hi Charlie, I hope you don't mind if I come back to your first post. You see, we have a problem in specifying the exact proposal. First, you write about inserting the track below the selection but in the last sentence, you ask about a command for inserting below the focused track. For certain comman...

Re: Combining and sub-scripts in .NY files

You can actually use code from other plug-ins through the load command. You have to declare variables manually that are normally assigned through the ";control" statements or duplicate all/some of them in your code. Example: (load "H:\\audacity\\win\\Release\\Plug-ins\\highpass.ny" :verbose t) In th...

The first effect to mention is grapick eq. Adjusting the sliders has no effect on the audio, unless the reverse button is pressed. This also occurs when selecting a curve from the built-in predefined values submenu. Another minor problem is when moving von shift sliders and arrow keys using NVDA. N...

Re: Tools Menu

Hi Audacity uses, if I'm not mistaken, ; i18n-hint The semicolon is the LISP symbol for comments (the hash would be for python, matlab etc.) This is followed by a space or another character that indicates the kind of translator comment (e.g. .,! ) However, it doesn't seem to be used in Nyquist plug-...

Re: Tools Menu

Yes, all text that is put into the (_ ...) function will be translatable. Header lines (including controls) that previously started with a ; have now the dollar sign in front. Built-in effects have no help screen any more but a help button instead, so it depends whether the help page is translated. ...

Re: Tools Menu

You might be glad to hear that Audacity version 2.3.0 will support the translation of Nyquist plug-ins, at least the built-in ones. It achieves this by introducing a new comment delimiter. apart from ; there's now also $ to indicate that this line has to be ignored during execution. The point is tha...

Re: Audacity PEMF tone generators

Thanks for all the feedback and support. steve: I ran Plot Spectrum frequency analysis on the expensive pemf machine. It is much cleaner than the square pulse that I created. original_pemf_recorded_pulse.png Here is one cycle from the original machine. The 0.008s works out to be 120Hz on the magnet...

Try this: Code: Select all (setf decimal-places 3) (defun format-time (sec) (setf *float-format* (format nil "%.~af" decimal-places)) (let* ((hh (truncate (/ sec 3600))) (sec (- sec (* hh 3600))) (mm (truncate (/ sec 60))) (sec (- sec (* mm 60)))) (cond ((> hh 0) (format nil "~ah:~am:~as" (dd hh) (...
