I have same similar problem. Version 1.2.6, Windows XP. Recorded 45 minutes of music, saved project as... to My Music file. All that I can find there relating to my project is an ".aup" file of 321 bytes and an ".aup.bak" file of 145kb plus two empty data folders. The audio track is the right length...

Too late! Bought a couple of splitters to join output to both speakers and input and that works fine. So does your suggestion: headphones socket to speakers. Could have saved myself 6€!

Why didn’t I think of that? Recording level is fine now. Haven’t a clue what I’m recording though as I can hear anything now! Looks like I’ll have to buy a couple of splitters to connect the output to the speakers.
