I would really like to see a much better/longer "Repair" function, similar to 'Auto Heal' in other software such as Audition, Amadeus Pro, etc., or at least allowing the sample size to be adjusted to a greater length. Does this problem for ALL recording software in Windows?
i.e. it is impossible to record in anything higher than 16-bit in Windows?

No tweaks or workarounds?

Or is there some way i could record in another software (still in Windows), and then edit the file in Audacity?
