The sound was in the recording, turning off the computer speakers would not have helped. A friend figured it out for me. Thanks anyway!

I am using Audacity 2.0 and I am just learning how to use it. I am trying to record my voice onto the computer, Dell Inspiron with Win7 and it has a built in mic.
