Audacity Forum

I use audacity as a mean to analyze sound. I would like to know what is the meaning of the numbers on the left when I define the waveform? also when i get a txt. file of the spectrum analysis there is no indication about the time units. What have i to do un order to get this info? thanks avigail p.s...
