Re: tracks skip
It seems to be just this one project that has the problem. If I import an audio file it works fine. The project that skips is the only one that is multiple tracks. All the others are either solo trumpet or guitar and vocal (recorded at the same time).

Re: tracks skip
It skips in the same spot every time. It plays Youtube fine. Windows media is fine, even though I don't use it.

tracks skip
Can someone help me out with skips on playback? I've tried making the audacity window small and zooming out to show the entire length of the recording (wiki recommendation). The problem is, it is already recorded and I'm thinking this might only help if I do it before I record. I've spend hours on t...

Re: Aligning Tracks
I seem to have figured out the latency compensation. My tracks are aligning correctly (for the most part) now. I have posted other questions that I have, but they're not up yet. Thanks for all the help.

Time Shifting
Is it possible to time shift just a portion of a track, as opposed to the entire thing? Only part of my track is out of alignment with the others. Shifting the entire thing fixes the problem in one area, but creates other problems in other areas. Does that make sense? Thanks.

Combining Tracks, Help!
Could someone please explain to me how to combine multiple tracks into one? I'm trying to clean up some of the clutter. I have 3 guitar tracks which are just bits and pieces of what is really one track. Can I combine them? Thanks.

Re: Aligning Tracks
How can I align my tracks if you can't listen to the tracks you've already recorded You should be able to hear tracks that are already recorded. "Overdub" (in the "Transport" menu must be enabled). Sweet, thanks! All of the tempos are slightly different Audacity assumes that the sound card captures...

Aligning Tracks
How can I align my tracks if you can't listen to the tracks you've already recorded and record at the same time? What is the purpose of the click track if you can't listen to it and record at the same time? All of the tempos are slightly different and they do not start at the exact same time. Also, ...
