OK...I figured this out, but still scratching my head. I was accessing a file from an external drive. As soon as I move them over to my desktop, it worked just fine.

No. Snap To is not selected.

I am selecting about two seconds of audio on my track and then I hit my delete key. Audacity is deleting more than 5 seconds of audio, rather than my selection. Any idea why this is happening?
