Thanks Gale, I was trying to avoid exporting individual tracks but I'll try your suggestions.

Lets say WMP or Media Player classic.
By way of explanation I am trying to make an MP3 file, with multiple tracks, behave like it was a CD. i.e. be able to step forward, or back.

Hi Newbee here, I have several audio tapes that I have captured to my PC as MP3 files. I can play these files ok except I cannot figure out how I can place markers to enable my player to skip tracks(i.e. using the next function) I do not want to make a CD just a computer file with track markers.
