Hi, thanks for the reply. I've been in and out of the volume control screen so many times now but I've just tried again. Lo and behold under Master Volume>Advanced there was a tick box saying "rear speakers connected to line in". I unticked it and now I can hear my line in !!! Thank you for your help.

Help please ! I've just installed 1.2.6 for copying my old vinyl LPs to digital. I am running XP and sound card is NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM) Audio.
