Ok. yes it does record the youtube clip. so i guess i'm recording my computer sounds and the piano that is plug into my computer is just playing in my computer. so how would i get it so i can just record my piano and not other computer sounds but still hear my piano? :/ this is funky stuff. nice cho...

i did all of that except and it still doesn't change anything. i don't have the realtek hd audio front ouput as an option for an output. i only have the rear output as an option. should i plug my headphones into the light green socket in the back of my computer? since they are plugged into the light...

the options i have in my audacity input device are "microsoft sound mapper input", "line in/mic in: line volume", "line in/mic in: front mic", "line in/mic in: microphone", and "line in/mic in: stereo mix"

HELLO? can someone help me. i'm recording through my blue stereo-in jack. that's how i plug in my keyboard to my computer. what do i need to do so my other tracks do NOT record the track above it. in audacity, my input device is set to "Line in/Mic in: Stereo Mix" and my output is set to "Realtek HD...

Hello again. When is record in stereo in audacity, the first track is great. However, the rest of the tracks record all the tracks above, just softer. works now without any weird sound. i have a Realtek audio sound card. this is what i did.
go to microphone tab:
turn off "noise suppresion" and "aucostic echo cancelation"
go to mixer tab
mute "line volume", "front mic", and "microphone" and only leave stero unmuted.

Recording in stereo (SOLVED)
Hello, i've trying to record in stereo with my piano. I have a 1/8 " to 1/8" jack connecting my blue input jack on my computer to a 1/8" to 1/4" stereo adapter. the 1/4" adapter is plugged into piano's headphone jack. when i'm playing, i listen through my computers headphone jack and it sounds fine....
