Do I have to keep juggling around all possile combinations on each LP, or is there a recommended combination that always works?

Well, that's the way it is. What would you set them at? Maybe I didn't try all the combinations. I also did not try the older version 1.2.6.

I have 379 GB free out of 455 GB. Win 7 defrags itself, not like XP.

I am using Audacity 1.3.13 beta. One odd thing just happened. I went to another LP with the usual bad result. So I paused the recording on the control panel and started over without undoing the recording and it go better. So I did it again and it was fine. My settings are Windows, speaker-Real Tech,...

It is a USB connection. The turntable is China made Unknown manufacture Model nbr SPT-106. It is connected to via USB to a Toshiba Satellite (64 bit), Win 7.The only difference in the two recording secessions is changing sides of the LP. LP to mp3 problem
I figured out how to convert my LP to mp3 but...(and there is always a but) one side plays just fine but the second side(identical setup) sound like it is in a cave. Anybody else had this problem and figured it out?
