After a thorough search i found no posts of use
my only hope is to find a virtual mixing desk that i can use to turn down the echo (if such a thing would be possible)

Close Audacity, then plug in your USB headphones, wait a few moments for Windows to recognise the headphones, then restart Audacity. the only other option there is windows direct sound and that puts the two other options to default. still works and still echo but not as bad ???steve wrote:Are there any other options available?
