also if somebody could explain why i cant save anything either that would be great

i have 2 questions, first is if i want to cut a large file into the smaller tracks how would i do that? so far i have "add label at selection" for every track but that didnt do much. and second the help says to export multiple but the pull down "file" tab is grayed out and i cant...
