Recording
I notice that while recording, that if I hit stop by mistake. That if I return to recording it opens a new track. How to i continue recording on the same track. if I am doing a long recording? Or any recording for that matter.

I have been extracting my CDs to a MP3 Library. I had found that the old file containing the music was transfred by me as a word file. How I did that I have no idea. Echo or Reverberation During Recording
How do I stop or remove the Echo or Reverberation while recording. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. I am using Win 7, and Audacity Beta. I am recording through the Mic jack on my sound card. Recording Audio books that we recorded of the radio onto cassettes many years ago.
