I was finally able to get stereo mix working again by switching my "playback" from USB-headset to external speakers connected directly to the computer sound jack. I did not realize that the "playback" option also had an affect on the recording since I certainly had no problems he...

You are absolutely right...Installing the service pak does require you to re-enable stereo mix under the sound recording settings which I did as mentioned in my first post (stereo mix is enabled). There has to be something else going on or perhaps another setting somewhere I haven't discovered yet.

1.3.13 had been running fine (many months) on my Windows 7 64-bit system. Installing the newly released SP1 "killed" my stereo mix recording ability. Using realtek high definition audio driver 6.0.1.6316. Stereo mix is enabled and set as my default recording device. It shows up fine within...
