"Snap To" is off by default. Strange! Maybe that for the ENG version is so... i've the ITA one... and it was enable by default! :- I doubt that. but why not try it? Exit Audacity, reset your preferences by editing audacity.cfg down to "NewPrefsInitialized=1" as described here , ...
