Thanks Steve, It now works. The sound mixer was disabled. Now it works as I wanted it too.

Mainly the song is on my computer, it can be anything. I have even recorded off of Youtube. It was whatever came through my system. I was able to record, and now I am unable to. I didnt know if it was because of the sound card in my old system vs the one in my new one.... Just want to be able to rec...

I bought a new computer. On my old computer I ran audacity and I selected wav as my input device and then I would press record then go to Windows media player and play a song.....and then I would save the recording as mp3, and so on. On my new computer, how do I do this? I have no options under the ...
