Audacity Forum

This is my first post on this forum so forgive me if it is too simplisitic. Using the beta version of Audacity and two tracks i.e. music and voice over, I cannot get the envelope to work in order to reduce the sound track for the voice over section. Is this a beta problem or am I doing something daf...
