I'm on a desktop with Dual Quad CPU chip. 4 gb Ram "Audio cache" uses 20 MB of RAM per minute of stereo recording (at default quality settings) to make the recording. CD-R VS CD-R music

Have been seeing CD-R Music discs to record to. Heard better than CD-R. Will it make a difference which CD to use? Afraid my old stereo may not be able to play that type disc. Have to buy 10 pack to try it and don't want to waste $$.

Now back to Sony Player.
Moved recording sliders to 0.2 Increased volume of Player. That may have solved it. Don't think I hear ticking during recording. Perhaps motor sounds were being picked up. Wont know until make CD. Lets hope so.
