Hi, Steve, thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm certain that the other side is different. Each side is labeled differently, and I have played it before, so I'm familiar with the tape. I'm just trying to convert it to a different format, so I don't have to lug around the tape player (as well as backing it ...

playing/recording side B with Hype converter
I am recording a cassette tape, using the Hype tape-to-USB converter. I cannot seem to be able to record side B of the tape. No matter how I insert the tape, FF, rewind, flip the tape, and no matter how I set up Audacity, it only seems to play/record side A. I am certain this is a simple 'user error...
