you can see that I know very little. almost dangerous to even have me looking at this.

I only use audacity to record videos or music that plays on my computer...so really just through the sound mechanisms that come with the computer.

all of a sudden audacity stopped working for me. I tried to figure out why. And the only thing I could come up with was that I had updated windows ie (even though I am not sure why I even keep it on my computer since I use firefox) so i went to the audacity site. updated audacity to 1.3 beta. still ...
