When I check it the only "Advanced" option it gives me is Microphone Boost

I can't click the advanced button on there..
Echo Cancellation is not in my Recording Control Properties either..

Do you know where I can find microphone properties?

Hey all I've been having trouble with my recordings recently, ever since I got my new mic. But i'm still confused about the guitar..i record the guitar as stereo mix and it sounds fine, its the microphone recording device option that when i press record it records the guitar again would getting an audio interface solve that?
