I just installed Audacity 1.2.6 on a second computer (emachine, XP.) However, when recording, it clips input at 0.5 on the Vertical Ruler, instead of the 1.0 it mentions in walkthroughs, etc. My other computer doesn't have this problem, records up to 1.0, and I have compared all options under Prefer...
