Yipppie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it worked. I pluged it in from the back in the line in plug. Now cross my fingers, hopefully I can burn it with no problems,lol. Thank you so much for your help-very appreciated!

I tried the suggestions above, but still no help. I have windwos Vista and I am simply trying to convert a cassette tape via jack-jack cable in headphone port into Audacity, so I can burn the audio to a CD.
