On previous editions of Audacity, there were some pre-set equalization curves, i.e. EMI 78, that I enjoyed using. Those do not seem to be available on this Beta version. Is there any way to import those curves?

Trying an mp3 sample.

This is a complete, original track recorded on Audacity this morning (except for editing my name off the beginning and end). You can hear the clicks or pops from about 11to 17 seconds into the recording.

I tried sending a PM with a track attached but it would not allow an aup or mp3 extension.

The tracks that I record are sent to an FTP site, so--using my other computer--I went to the site and listened to several of the tracks and, unfortunately, still heard clicks and pops. Here's the strange part: I listened to a track I just recorded--played it back several times and heard the pops in the same place each time. Then I went back and listened to a couple of tracks I recorded this morning which originally contained pops and now they sound clear.
