Hi,
is it possible to drag&drop audio from Windows Explorer to an existing track, without creation of a new track?
Thanks for answer,
Lauri

Re: Cannot export mp3 MONO?
Oh and any good reason why you are still using 1.3.14 - that is a superseded Beta version of Audacity. Version 2 has been out for a while now (2.0.0 was heavily based on 1.3.14 Beta, with a few bug fixes) - 2.0.1 is the current release (soon to be replaced with 2.0.2). You can get the latest versio...

Re: Cannot export mp3 MONO?
Perhaps just a simple rewording would help, for example: Stereo Track Channel Mode: [_] Joint Stereo / [_] Stereo Raising this old one up, as it touches the workflow we are working on right now. There are 10-20 stereo clips in project. The exported file should be mono MP3. I assume the only way to ...

Any alternative to markers?
Hello again.
We have a studio setup where editors record themselves and studio technicians edit out their errors afterwards.
Many sequencers do have a feature where you can place markers to tracks while recording. Is there any way to do the same kind of thing in Audacity?
Thank you for the answer.

Re: Project preferences?
You can have different instances of audacity installed into different folders (but only run one at a time). I'm not a windows user, but I think it should work if you download the zip file for audacity and unpack it to two different folders. I'm not sure how audacity handles the preferences file on ...

Project preferences?
Hi all, I'm building a studio setup where Audacity is used to record both mono and stereo audio. I'm trying to make the setup as easy to use as possible, and was wondering that would it be possible to create separate template projects for mono and stereo inputs? The idea would be that users could do...
