I'm sure I did that earlier in the process of getting it set up---but probably the other settings were different

Thanks for all your help I have now successfully managed to record from the TTable to Audacity and can playback the recorded music. What I still cannot do is listen to what is being recorded as it records. The settings which allow me to do this are as follows: Control Panel:Playback: SoundMAX Digita...

5year old Dell, running Windows XP.
New version 1.2.6, that came with turntable--but first I tried the version I already had on the PC--and the problem was the same.
The turntable is a Soundlab professional GO56C and is a USB turntable

No Sound from Speakers
I am new to the forum. I have used Audacity for some time, but have just bought a new Turntable. I can no longer get any sound from the speakers when using Audacity. The sound appears to be arriving as the meters show imput.3
