I tried both systems. I had both downloaded and both did the same thing. No I don't see recording level control in the control panel.

Same Mic. I have check in the control panel and on audacity and they all say in frontmic and shows plugged in and working.

I am trying to record my son for a voice over audition. We are using a plug in mic. We are using a desktop and the system is vista. Like I said I have done this before with no issues besides low volume.

This is the second time I am using this program the first time I figured out how to record. The volume/sound was low but it worked for what I needed. Now I am trying to record and I am getting no sound when I playback but I am not having issues with anything else sound related. Help I needed somethi...
