Good thing I saw this! I'm having the exact same problem! I downloaded a conversation from mp3, converted to wav to edit, didn't finish, so saved my progess in wav and mp3. Now when I try to re-open to edit, something like 20 minutes are "silent" and it won't play. But it will let me edit....
