Can anyone suggest a better program for handling music tracks? Audacity seems to be stupidly difficult and possibly created for expert computer users. It seems to only work for playing back tracks recorded by my plusdeck. Plays back great, but all the editing features etc. are constantly greyed out....

I looked through the tutorials but find them to be way above my head. And I couldn't find anything dealing with "cut". But I'll go back to them.

Your problem interests me because I have the exact OPPOSITE problem! I get the sound perfectly in Audacity but no Windows player will play it.

Sorry to be such an idiot but I'm NOT computer literate. I am trying to edit a .wav recording in my computer. I use audacity to open it (the entire recording is there, no problem).
