i used
ifree recorder in the past. but what it did is it played audio in one speaker, and randomly cut into the other speaker. Do you know what this is called?

I want to avoid paying loads of money for a skype recorder.
There are vids on youtube of people doing it

Im trying to record skype calls.
How do i change the input to stereo mix?
Please please help
Im on windows 7.
I see a box that says master and thats all. Im hopeless
