Audacity Forum

Hi all,

I have Audacity 1.2.3. I'm starting with an MP3 file that is 9MB. All I want to do is trim 7 seconds from the audio. I can do this but when I export back to MP3, the file size grows to 27MB.

How can I resave the file and maintain the same file size?
