I recorded some MP3's from an old album. During the recording process (View fit vertically) I turned up the volume because it seemed to low. Firefox works just fine on other sites but when I access this forum from Audacity that is the "Forbidden" warning I get. When I go to http://audacityteam.org/forum/ directly in Firefox I get the same screen. Works fine over here on Windoze machine.

Problem Solved. The recommendation to upgrade to 10.10 was accomplished by erasing the drive, downloading 10.10 and burning it to disk (on my Windoze machine), and then installing it fresh. Upgraded Ubuntu to 9.10 (that was as far as it would go) and Audacity is still 1.3.9. Now Audacity won't even monitor input now !

I had Audacity working just fine on a 6 gig drive but not enough free space to edit a 13 minute MP3 .
