Audacity will not start due to FL Studio?

ok first off i just installed FL Studio then all of the sudden windows wont open audacity anymore...
this is the error message i get when i try to start audacity

Exception EAccessViolation in module FL Studio VSTi (Multi).dll at 00018906
Access violation at address 04018906 in module 'FL Studio VSTi (Multa).dll'. Read of address 00000008

i searched around and found someone else who was having the same problem as me, that person was told to install the nightly build of audacity and turn off the automatically load VST plugins feature... but i cant because the link is broken XD

so all i know is that audacity is trying to load a dll file from fl studio and its causing it to crash.... the person also said to try renaming the folder the file is in or rename the file itself.. but then if i do that FL Studio most likely will stop working aswell XD

so any help finding this nightly build or any other way to work around this would be great

Recent Audacity Betas and 2.0.0 alpha (from http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... tly_Builds) should be able to ignore FL Studio VSTinstruments without turning off VST support in the Effects Preferences. Have you tried 2.0.0 alpha from the link above?

1.3.12 Beta would have been current when doblece tried in May 2010, but please try 2.0.0 first which is generally much less buggy. Before you run 2.0.0, go to Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\Audacity\ (usually in C:\) and delete the file "plugins.cfg" if it exists.

To find the AppData folder you may have to show hidden files and folders .
