Audacity 2.0.5 released

Audacity Team is pleased to announce the release of Audacity 2.0.5 . It replaces all previous versions and fixes the following major issues:

  • start up crashes or hangs that were experienced on some machines in 2.0.4
  • files not opening on Mac OS X when using "Open with", double-click or dragging a file to the Audacity icon.

See the 2.0.5 Release Notes for all bug fixes and changes for 2.0.5, and for problems which were known at time of release.
