Noise Floor no higher than -60db

Please forgive my obvious to most question.

What would a noise floor number be that is considered higher than -60db?

My reason for asking is that when I complete a recording the noise floor is about -64db, using the ACX Check, but when my clean-up of a recorded file is complete the noise floor might be between -75db and -85db. It still passes the ACX Check, so my assumption is that -75db is quitter than -64db. Is this correct?

Yes : -75db is quieter than -64db.
Confusingly a higher noise-level is a lower (negative) number.
