De-Pixelate Audio File

I recorded a phone interview yet it seems to have some “digital” noise… such as beeps or crackling. Is there a way to remove this in audacity? Thanks.

You should plan on no.

People try to use the Personal Recorder to record both sides of a cellphone call. It doesn’t. It only records your voice and the far side is generally trash.

Audacity has no surveillance or recovery tools.

If I needed to record both sides of a phone call, I use an actual telephone and a special microphone connected to a stand-alone recorder or Audacity.

That’s an Olympus TP-7 with an adapter, or the TP-8 which doesn’t need one.

Here’s some actual sound samples
