USB Mixer Issue

Hello,

I’m currently using a Alesis 4fx usb powered mixer with my set up. My issue is that if I use the designated Codec input…the levels are very low. If I use the standard computer input the volume/levels are fine yet it sounds hollow. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated

What are you recording? Guitar? Live voice? What kind of microphone? You’re leaving out important info.

Live voice. I’ve used condenser mics and regular mics.
