Hi, next week, I am going to be doing a hike woth friends, and we have to have a goal. Our goal is going to be to make a music video. We haven’t really decided between a single song, or if we are going to do a mash up. I want to do the mashup, and uave wanted to do a mashup of songs for mysepf anyway. I’ll get to the point. How do I make one in Audacity? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Have you done a mashup in any software?
Import all the songs in Audacity and they will appear above each other on the timeline and play at once. Use the Time Shift Tool (two black sideways arrows) and the Envelope Tool (two white arrows and bent clue line) to put each song in the right place and fade each song in and out.
Each song needs to be in the same key and it’s nice if they’re in the same rhythm. You can change each one with Effect > Change Speed and Effect > Change Pitch.

or you can select them all with Ctrl+A and then use Tracks > Align Tracks > Align End to End
But you may want to overlap each track and make cross-fades …
