Changing Times [SOLVED]

I have been using Audacity for a while to record my songs. I use backtracks and then sing live. Today when exporting the audacity project files to MP3 status the times have all doubled up . Example song saved in Audacity shows times of 3min43 but once I export to MP3 it shows times as 7m24. Can anyone tell what has changed so I can correct.

Check the player you are using that claims double time. Perhaps it does not support variable bit rate, in which case export from Audacity as Constant Bit Rate.
