group insert audio files

Hello,

Is there a way to insert several short audio files into a whole album or directory of songs?

Linux Mint 18.1; Audacitu 2.1.2

Thank you!

How are you playing the songs?
Can you just add the files to your media player’s play list?

I play the files with foonbnix or foobar. They will also be played on CD in a car. Of course I can play in the playlsit.

But I want the short audio files to be embeded in every song1

What do you mean “embedded”? Do you want them “mixed in” like companies often do to “watermark” demo tracks?

I want to insert small adio files into the music to announce something.

Sorry, but I still don’t get a clear picture of what exactly you want to do, so I don’t know how to advise you. Perhaps someone else can guess what you mean, or perhaps you could actually describe what it is that you are trying to do.

I have a directory with songs. I want to insert into every song one or more short audio file(s). Is this possible to be done in bulk not song by song@

No, not with Audacity.

Any other software?

If the song to be inserted is to be added at the start or end of the songs in your folder, you may be able to use concatenate in a SoX script to do this: http://sox.sourceforge.net/sox.html. We can’t provide technical support for SoX.
