How can I add themes to Audacity in Ubuntu?

I’m currently running Audacity 2.1.2 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS 64 bit. I recently saw this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwgmVDnfvRo) in which somehow the waveforms are red. Can I replicate this on Linux?

I’ve been trying for the past several hours to install a theme on Audacity, in order to make the waveform a different color (anyone got one with a red waveform?). I’ve tried editing audacity.cfg and creating a themes folder, but every time I think I’ve got it right, it comes up with a debug warning. How can I fix this so I can install the theme?
