Getting Audacity to work with Ubuntu...

This question may well have a very simple answer, but I’m new to Ubuntu (& Linux in general). What I’d like to know is how I go about recording my “speaker audio” with Audacity. Are there any special settings I need to look out for?

There’s a tutorial for Ubuntu 10 here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Stereo_mix_with_Ubuntu_10
It should be pretty much the same for more recent versions of Ubuntu.
